Why buy a copy from Eastman for £2,000 when you can get an original here !?!

British WWII original R.A.F. IRVIN Flight jacket in very rare size 44 / Large-Xlarge in very good condition.

Physically measures approx. 48” so should be suitable for around a 44” chest. Classic early example with single panel fronts and just one centre seam on the back of the jacket. The leather is in good overall condition retaining much of the original chromed finish and flexibility. The general appearance is very good although the leather is thinning a little around the shoulder area and there is some rubbing, soiling and wear on the arms. A small section of the shoulder seam has been restitched but other than that all seams appear good and tight. Very good short dense fur typical of pre-war and early war jackets. The waist fur is still very good indeed. The jacket retains original zips with unmarked black painted brass sliders, all with their original leather puller tags. The notably narrow profile belt is complete and in good condition bar surface wear on the buckle. This example has a chain hanger, collar strap/rings and eyelets to the rear of the collar for the elastic 'collar strap' (not present). No label.
