Description
GERMAN WWII Reproduction Luftwaffe Chanel Jacket Winter ME-262 in Size XL from Company "NOBLE HOUSE ULM" in mint condition.
An authentic reproduction of the WW-2 German Flight Jacket (Channel Jacket). The jackets are in Airforce blue like the fighter pilots, dogfight pilots,
night fighter pilots and stuka pilots wore in the German airforce durring WW-2.
This could be the most rare variation of WW-2 flight jackets. It`s production was more complicated than any other jacket we have produced.
We obtained an original jacket from a fighter pilot who flew the legendary ME-262 in Germany at the Leipheim Airport in Ulm, where all the V3 jets were tested.
The first ME-262 V3 was flown by Fritz Wendel on the 18.07.1942. The Channel Jacket was specially developed for pilots deployed on the eastern front and only meant for flight personal between 1943 -1945.
The complex work that has gone in to the production of these jacket are evident, two different jackets are produced, one out of cotton,
and one of sheepskin, they are then combined together. The lamb fleece has been tanned in exactly the same way as it was done in 1942.
The Italian cotton is also specially produced for us, and woven on 60 year old machines. The map pocket and oxygen holder are included exactly as they were on the original jacket.
