U.S.WWII Original US WWII .50 Caliber Machine Gun Cotton Belt. Dated 1943
These cotton belts were used to feed ammunition into .50 caliber machine guns, like the Browning. Cloth belts were lighter and quieter than metal belts, but these would fall apart after firing, leaving single rounds in the gun's chamber. What you see is what you get !
