U.S. WWII Knive M3 Utica with M8 Bakelit Scabbard Pacific Theatre signed

This is a Mark 3 U.S. fighting knife, with the guard deeply maker stamped, U.S. / M-3 / UTICA. The 6 3/4 inch spear point blade is in good condition, though it definitely was used, and sharpened while in service. Most of the original finish is worn off . The blade is still quite sharp on the top and bottom edge. There are no major cracks, and the leather is still soft. The bottom of the pommel shows the U.S. "Flaming Bomb" proof mark.The M8 Bakelit Scabbard is in really nice condition and signed of the back with New Guinea 1944 so i think the owner was in the Pacific Theatre
